Data Scientist - Machine Learning

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS

• MS or Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a quantitative field

• Strong background in the foundations of machine learning

• Well read in the relevant literature around applications of machine learning or deep learning

• Experience translating projects in machine learning into production apps

• Collect and combine data from multiple sources

• Uncover and explore anomalous data, including metadata

• Apply the scientific process to data evaluation, statistical inference and data mining

• Develop analytic plans, engineer supporting algorithms, and design and implement solutions for production apps

• Document machine learning runbooks

• Analyze data using mathematical/statistical methods

• Evaluate, document and present research processes, analyses, and results to peers and leadership

• Create data visualizations
