YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct research for Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies 

• Apply research results to prototypes and production applications

• Research and develop medical corpus

• Text mining, sentiment analysis, topic segmentation and recognition

• Summarize research findings in high-quality paper and patent submissions

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Economics, or related quantitative field

• Experience in Perl, Python, or another scripting language; command line usage

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform

• Analyze into data to discover hidden patterns 

• Knowledge of various machine learning techniques and key parameters that affect their performance

• Experience developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, using strong baselines, and determining cause and effect relations

• Understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development and evaluation data sets, etc
